Description

Neil the Seal Rampage is a 3-lane arcade runner starring Tasmania's chunkiest menace. Flop down the coastal road, hoover up fish, flatten street furniture and dodge the rangers, 1,000 kilos at a time.

Every run is a negotiation between three meters. Blubber is hunger: fish keep it topped up, and running dry ends the rampage permanently. Heat is the law: every bin, cone and parked ute Neil smashes brings the animal catchers closer. Fame is the goal: fill the meter and Viral Mode kicks in: eight seconds of double score, double fish bucks, and obstacles that suddenly become smashable. Between runs, fish bucks buy upgrades and increasingly ridiculous outfits.

History

Neil is a real elephant seal who periodically hauls himself out of the sea to nap on Tasmanian streets, block traffic and claim the occasional traffic cone as personal property. The internet loves him. This game is an unofficial, affectionate tribute made with respect for (and no affiliation with) the actual Neil, who cannot endorse products because he is a seal.

Features

  • Squash-and-stretch lane hops down a coastal road, 1,000 kilos at a time.
  • A three-meter tug of war: Blubber keeps Neil alive, Heat brings the rangers, Fame makes him a star.
  • Viral Mode: 8 seconds of double score, double fish bucks, and obstacles that suddenly become smashable.
  • 24 kinds of street furniture, bins, cones and parked utes to flatten across 3 difficulty phases.
  • 5 upgrade tracks with 5 levels each, paid for in honestly-earned fish bucks.
  • 8 skins, including the traffic cone hat the real Neil made famous. Zero dignity throughout.
